5th grade teacher John Herd has been selected as the 2024-2025 Key Elementary Teacher of the Year!
One of John's nominators said:
"John Herd is an amazing teacher. He works hard to build relationships with every one of his students. He is unruffled and calm in the midst of chaos. He connects with students on their level. Every day at recess, he can be found participating in a multi-grade level soccer game, where he instills kindness and sportsmanship amongst the students. He is a genuinely kind-hearted person and he's a joy to work with. We should all be inspired to be like Mr. Herd!"
