Help Keep Our Schools Safe
Did you know that our See. Hear. Share. hotline is staffed around the clock? If you or a student sees or hears something concerning, you can call or text 918-480-SAFE or email share@tulsaschools.org to anonymously report a student or school safety concern.
Join us at the Enrollment Expo this weekend!
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year will open on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Please join us at our Enrollment Expo from 9am-2pm, also on January 11, at the University of Tulsa Allen Chapman Student Union (3135 E. 5th Pl.).
At the Expo, families will:
- Learn about all 78 of our schools (school leaders from each will be there!)
- Explore district resources for you and your children
- Connect with community partners offering free services, including immunizations
- Enjoy FREE lunch and collect swag items from different schools
Along with free lunch, we’ll also have a Kids Zone available (for children ages 3-8), on-site enrollment support, and interpretation services. Mark Your Calendar: Military Service Academy Info Session
Students in grades 6-11 and their families are invited to join us for a Military Service Academy Information Session on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10:30am-1:30pm at the TPS Education Service Center (3027 S. New Haven Ave.). Military service academies like the Air Force Academy, West Point, Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy are prestigious options for students looking to gain a world-class education and develop leadership skills after high school.
Representatives from service academies will be on hand for the info session so that you can learn about full scholarship opportunities, gain insights into each academy and their unique programs, and hear firsthand from cadets and admission officers. You’ll also get insider tips on the application process and have a chance to ask questions! Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to explore what service academies have to offer. Inclement Weather Reminder
Winter weather has arrived in Tulsa! As we navigate the cold temperatures, we want to remind our families how decisions are made around inclement weather. On days with severe weather forecasts, the district will announce emergency closings or delays no later than 5am on the impacted day. We consult with the Tulsa Area Emergency Management Agency and other authorities to make decisions that protect learning time while prioritizing the safety of our students, families and team members.
When possible, we notify families by 10pm on the night prior to a forecasted weather event. If there is no announcement by 5am on the impacted day, school is in session and district offices are open. In the event of closings or delays we send messages directly to families and team members. We will also post about closings/delays on our website at www.tulsaschools.org and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/TulsaPublicSchools
